Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking a service with Align Sound Healing.

By engaging in our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

 

  • Consent and Personal Responsibility:
    a. Participation in all services provided by Align Sound Healing is voluntary. By booking a service, you affirm that you are participating willingly and take full responsibility for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being during and after the service.
    b. It is your responsibility to inform your practitioner about any pre-existing medical conditions, physical limitations, or sensitivities that may impact your participation or require special accommodations. 
    c. Please ensure you've read through the contraindications here.

  • Not a Substitute for Medical Treatment:
    a. Services provided are not intended to replace or substitute professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological treatment.
    b. The services provided are complementary and supportive in nature and should not be considered as a standalone treatment for any medical or mental health conditions.

  • Confidentiality:
    a. In addition to our standard confidentiality policy, Align Sound Healing commits to protecting the personal and sensitive information of our participants. Any information shared in the service will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and will not be disclosed except as required by law or with explicit consent from the participant.  

  • Individual Booking Policy:
    a. To ensure clarity and manageability of bookings, each attendee must make their reservation individually. Group bookings, where one individual reserves multiple spaces, are not permitted. 
    b. Each booking transaction is limited to one booking per attendee. 
    c. It is the responsibility of each attendee to make their own reservation. This ensures each participant has agreed to our terms and conditions independently and filled out appropriate intake forms.
    d. By making a booking, each attendee agrees to these terms and conditions.

  • Prompt Start and Door Closure Policy:​​
    a. All services begin precisely at the scheduled time. To maintain the sanctity and uninterrupted flow, the doors will be closed and locked at the start time. Late arrivals will not be admitted to avoid disruption of the atmosphere essential for a meditative experience. 
    b. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled booking. This will allow you sufficient time to settle in, prepare yourself, and ensures a respectful transition without disturbance. 
    c. This protocol is in place to respect the experience of all participants and to uphold the quality and integrity of the services provided. 

  • Late Arrival Policy for Private Bookings:
    a. In respect of both your time and our practitioner's schedule, the duration of private bookings will not be extended due to late arrivals. This means if you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time.

    b. If we have not received any communication from you 15 minutes after your booking start time, your booking will be canceled and no refund will be issued. 

  • Cancellation and Rescheduling:
    a. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please provide at least 48 hours' notice, unless otherwise specified in the specific booking terms.
    b. Failure to provide sufficient notice or non-attendance without prior communication will result in forfeiture of fees as specified in our cancellation policy.

  • Events Policies:
    a. Events marked as non-refundable at time of booking also means they are non-transferable. Once you have booked and paid for these events, the payment is final and cannot be refunded.
    b. The non-refundable policy for these events is due to the nature of the planning, time, resource allocation and limited spaces available.
    c. By booking a non-refundable event, you acknowledge and agree to this non-refundable policy. We encourage you to carefully consider your commitment to attend before booking.
    d. If a non-refundable booking is cancelled for an event, Align Sound Healing reserves the right to resell the space in order to maintain full attendance.

  • Payment and Fees:
    a. The fees for services are outlined at the time of booking and are subject to change without prior notice.
    b. Payment is due in full at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed upon.
    c. Any additional fees will be communicated to you at the time of occurrence.

  • Waitlist Policies:
    a. 
    To be placed on the waitlist for a specific session or event, please use the waitlist calendar here.
    b. Requesting a waitlist spot via direct messaging or email does not guarantee placement on the waitlist. Only those who sign up through the designated online calendar will be notified if a space becomes available for the requested day/time.

  • Release of Liability:
    a. By participating in our services, you release the practitioner and their associates from any claims, liabilities, injuries, damages, or expenses arising from or related to your participation, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

  • Force Majeure:
    a. Align Sound Healing shall not be liable for any failure to preform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, labor disputes or other industrial disturbances, electrical or power outages, utilities or other telecommunications failures, earthquake, storms or other elements of nature, blockages, embargoes, riots, acts or orders of government, acts of terrorism, or war. 

  • Personal Belongings and Responsibility:
    a. Please take care of your personal belongings. The practitioner and venue are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items.

  • Behavioral Expectations:
    a. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and non-disruptive manner at all times. Align Sound Healing reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant who displays disruptive, disrespectful or dangerous behavior without refund or recourse.

  • Photos, Videos and Feedback:
    a. Photos and videos may be taken throughout the session for marketing and promotion purposes. If you do not wish to be in any of the photos or videos, speak with your practitioner prior to the session starting. Feedback may also be used as testimonials on social media, our website and any other content Align Sound Healing creates.

  • Modifications and Adaptations of Services:
    a. The practitioner reserves the right to modify or adapt services based on your individual needs, energy, and responses.
    b. The practitioner may recommend or suggest additional practices, self-care techniques, or referrals to other professionals to support your overall well-being. However, you are under no obligation to follow these recommendations.

  • Right to Modify
    a. Align Sound Healing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to update, change, modify, add or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately.
    b. We encourage you to periodically review our Terms and Conditions to stay informed of our updates. 

     

Please ensure that you fully understand and agree to these terms and conditions before booking services with Align Sound Healing. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please contact Align Sound Healing before proceeding.

Cancelation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We value your time and the time of our practitioners, and in order to maintain efficient scheduling and provide the best possible service to all of our clients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

 

  • Cancellation Notice:
    a. We kindly request that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking.
    b. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled booking will be considered late cancellations.

  • Non-Refundable Events:
    a. Please note that certain events, as indicated at time of booking, are non-refundable, which also means they are non-transferable. This policy will be strictly adhered to due to the nature and requirements of these specific events.

    b. For these non-refundable events, cancellation at any time after booking will result in the forfeiture of the payment made, without eligibility for a refund or credit. This policy is highlighted in both our Terms & Conditions and on the booking page for clarity and acknowledgement.

  • Late Cancellations:
    a. Late cancellations will not receive a refund of their booking.
    b. The late cancellation compensates our practitioners for the time and resources allocated for your booked space and the missed opportunity to offer the space to another client.

  • Late Arrival:
    a. Participants who arrive late, in which case the doors have been closed, will be treated as a no-show, as late arrivals disrupt the serenity and flow of the session.
    b. Late arrivals will therefore not receive a refund of their booking.
    c. Late arrivals for private sessions or private events will end as originally scheduled and no refund will be issued for the missed portion of the session. If we have not received any communication from you 15 minutes after your booking start time, your booking will be canceled and no refund will be issued. 

  • No-Show Policy:
    a. If you fail to attend your scheduled booking without prior notice or communication, it will be considered a no-show.
    b. No-shows will not receive a refund.

  • Payment:
    a. In the event of a late arrival or a no-show, the fee paid at the time of booking will be retained.
    b. Refunds or credits will not be issued for late cancellations, late arrivals, no-shows, or unused sessions. 
    c. This policy is in place to compensate for the time and resources allocated for your booked space and to respect the commitment of our practitioners and other clients.

  • Provider Cancellation Rights:
    a. At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to cancel a s
    cheduled session, class, appointment, or event. 
    b. In the event that we must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide the following options:

    -A full refund of any fees paid. 
    -The opportunity to transfer the booking to an equivalent session, class, appointment, or event at a later date, subject to availability. 

 

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our cancellation policy. By booking a service with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above.
